The terms that govern working with The White Veld Studio.
Last updated: July 9, 2026
These terms apply to every consultation, staging project, and design engagement booked through thewhiteveld.ca.
These terms govern any consultation, staging, or design service booked with The White Veld ("the Studio," "we," "us"). By booking a consultation or service, you agree to the terms below.
The Studio provides home staging and interior design services within Oakville, Burlington, and Mississauga, Ontario. Requests outside this area will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
Every project begins with a paid design consultation. The consultation fee is non-refundable and is credited toward your project if you choose to move forward within 30 days. A 50% deposit is required to book your staging or design service, with the balance due on or before install day. You will receive one all-inclusive invoice covering the full scope of work.
We ask for at least 5 business days' notice to reschedule an install date. Cancellations made less than 5 business days before the scheduled install forfeit the deposit. The Studio reserves the right to reschedule due to weather, access issues, or circumstances outside our control, with no penalty to the client.
The client is responsible for providing safe, clear access to the property for the Studio and its team on the scheduled dates, and for ensuring the property is broom clean and ready to receive staging inventory. The client is responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance on the property during the staging period.
All furniture, decor, and staging inventory placed in the home remain the property of The White Veld Studio at all times and are provided for the agreed staging period only. The client agrees not to move, alter, sell, or remove any staging inventory without the Studio's written consent. The client is responsible for any loss or damage to staging inventory beyond normal wear that occurs during the staging period.
Deposits are non-refundable once inventory has been reserved for your project. Accepted payment methods and final invoice details are provided at booking. Late payments may delay installation or removal dates.
The Studio may photograph completed staging and design work for its portfolio, website, and marketing. We do not publish a client’s home address or personal information. Clients who prefer their project not be used in marketing may opt out in writing before the project begins.
The Studio carries general liability insurance for its operations. The Studio is not liable for pre-existing property conditions or for damage arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
